Abstract

ÀüÄ¡ºÎÀÇ ¼öÁ÷ÇÇ°³´Â Æò±Õ 5.47 mm ÀÇ Áõ°¡ (p < 0.01) °¡ ³ªÅ¸³µ°í Æò±Õ 17.4 °³¿ù À¯Áö ÈÄ 0.99 mmÀÇ °¨¼Ò (p < 0.05) °¡ ³ªÅ¸³ª¼­, Àç¹ß·®Àº 18.10%·Î °è»êµÇ¾ú´Ù. Ä¡·á ÀüÈÄ ¼öÄ¡ º¯È­·®ÀÇ »ó°üºÐ¼®À» ÅëÇØ »ó¾Ç ±¸Ä¡ ¾ÐÇÏ·®°ú ÇÏ¾Ç Æò¸é°¢ º¯È­·®ÀÌ »ó°ü°ü°è (p < 0.05) °¡ ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. Á¢ÃË ¹ÝÀÀ½Ã°£¿¡ µû¸¥ Å»ÂøÈ¿À²Àº 10ºÐ À̳»¿¡ Àüü Å»Âø·®ÀÇ 80%ÀÌ»óÀÌ Å»Âø µÇ¾úÀ¸¸ç 1½Ã°£ ÀÌÈÄ¿¡´Â °ÅÀÇ º¯È­°¡ ¾ø¾ú´Ù.Àå ³» B¼¼Æ÷ ¹× T¼¼Æ÷¸¦ Áõ°¡½ÃÄ×À¸³ª, ¸¶¿ì½º Èä¼±¼¼Æ÷¿¡ ´ëÇؼ­´Â Áõ°¡¸¦ º¸ÀÌÁö ¾Ê¾Ò´Ù. ESMRÀº ¸¶¿ì½º ¼¶À¯À°Á¾ ¼¼Æ÷¿¡ ´ëÇØ °­ÇÑ ¼¼Æ÷µ¶¼º È¿°ú¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³Â´Ù. FSa II¸¦ Á¢Á¾ÇÑ ¸¶¿ì½º¿¡¼­ ¹æ»ç¼± ´Üµ¶ º¸´Ù ESMRÀ» º´¿ëÇÑ °æ¿ì ¹æ»ç¼±¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ ¼¼Æ÷¼Õ»óÀÌ ¾à 50% ÀÌ»ó Áõ°¡µÇ¾úÀ¸¸ç, µÎ ±º°£ÀÇ Â÷ÀÌ´Â Åë°èÇÐÀû Àǹ̸¦ ³ªÅ¸³Â´Ù(p<0.05). ºÎÁö¸éÀû°ú ºñ¿ëÀÇ °¨¼Ò»Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó º¸´Ù È¿°úÀûÀÎ ¼öÁú°³¼±È¿°ú¸¦ °¡Á®¿Ã ¼ö ÀÖÀ¸¸®¶ó ÆǴܵȴÙ.´Ù. ÀÌ»ó°ú °°ÀÌ Á¶¼±

Objective: This study investigated the skeletal and dentoalveolar changes after intrusion of maxillary posterior teeth using miniscrew implants during the treatment and posttreatment period.

Method: The subjects consisted of 11 adults (1 male, 10 females) whose open bites were treated by posterior teeth intrusion with miniscrew. The lateral cephalometric x-rays of pre-treatment, post-treatment, and the retention period were evaluated.

Results: The average intrusion of maxillary posterior teeth at the end of the treatment period was 2.22 mm (p < 0.001) and the average extrusion of maxillary posterior teeth at the end of the 17.4 month retention period was 0.23 mm (p = 0.359). The relapse rate was calculated at 10.36%. A decrease in overbite after the 17.4 month retention period was 0.99 mm (p < 0.05). The relapse rate was calculated at 18.10%. The skeletal changes and vertical height change of maxillary posterior teeth during the retention period was statistically insignificant, but there was a significant decrease in overbite (mean 0.99 mm, p < 0.05). The amount of intrusion and the overbite improvement from treatment significantly correlates to the degree of relapse.

Conclusions: The results indicate that intrusion of the maxillary posterior teeth using miniscrews is an effective, non-surgical treatment modality which can reasonably be used to address adult open bite.
